Das HVB-Modul ist der Baustein der aktuellen BYD Battery-Box HVB, einer echten Hochvolt-Batterie mit BYDs eigenen LFP-Zellen im Cell-to-Pack-Aufbau. Die Module stecken über einen patentierten internen Stecker ineinander, ein Turm braucht also keine Verkabelung zwischen den Modulen, und mit unter 30 kg je Modul montiert sie eine Person. Ein Turm lässt sich später bei jedem Ladezustand erweitern.
