8 kW three-phase hybrid inverter from Sungrow for homes with a high-voltage battery. It takes up to 12 kWp of panels, charges and discharges at 10.6 kW, and switches the house to backup in under 20 ms with 100% unbalanced load support.

The SH8.0RT-20 is the current generation of Sungrow's RT series of three-phase hybrid inverters for homes. Its battery input covers 150-600 V, so it pairs with a wide range of high-voltage lithium-ion batteries such as Sungrow's own SBR, and it moves 10.6 kW in and out of the battery, more than its 8 kW AC rating. When the grid fails, the backup output takes over in under 20 ms and can load each phase independently, so a single-phase appliance on backup is not limited to a third of the inverter.
